The CVS Caremark Charitable Trust, a 501(c)(3) private foundation, receives the majority of its funding from the company. The Charitable Trust uses these funds to make grants directly to nonprofit organizations that are primarily focused on serving children with disabilities and help to advance the vision of our CVS Caremark All Kids Can program. Some additional Trust grants are provided to: organizations that serve the health care needs of various populations, including, but not limited to children; pharmacy schools; scholarship programs; and the CVS Caremark Volunteer Challenge Grant Program. Since 2001, the Trust has awarded grants totaling more than $21.5 million to nearly 325 organizations. Of this, $5.5 million was contributed in 2007 alone.
